Story
Running 13.1 miles is completely outside of my comfort zone, but I’m taking on the Oxford Half Marathon in memory of two deeply loved people: my dear friend Ros and my nephew Ollie, who both tragically lost their lives to suicide.
Losing Ros and Ollie has left an unforgettable hole in our hearts. In their honor, I wanted to push past my own limits, turn grief into action, and support a cause that makes a real difference to people struggling with their mental health.
I’m proud to be raising funds for Restore, a brilliant local Oxfordshire charity. Restore provides recovery groups, coaching, and supportive community spaces that help people suffering from severe mental ill-health take control of their lives and find hope again.
Every mile of training, every blister, and every step on race day will be dedicated to Ros, Ollie, and anyone fighting battles in the dark.
If you are able to donate, no matter how smallor simply share this page, it would mean the absolute world to me. Thank you so much for your love, support, and encouragement as I take on this challenge
