Roselands Primary School is raising money for The Monkey Tree

The Monkey Tree Charity raises money to provide children and young adults with life limiting & terminal illnesses, reviving treatment at the Bristol Royal Infirmary, Bristol Children's Hospital and Teenage Cancer Trust unit with age appropriate wheelchairs, meal vouchers and other resources.

Story

The Elberry House Captains met to discuss the upcoming house day on Friday 17th July. Our chosen charity, the Monkey Tree Project, raises money to provide children and young adults with life limiting & terminal illnesses, reviving treatment at the Bristol Royal Infirmary, Bristol Children's Hospital and Teenage Cancer Trust unit with age appropriate wheelchairs, meal vouchers and other resources.

The house captains have made plans to raise money for this charity including:

Casual wear - (optional to include the house colour yellow or monkey theme) in exchange for £1

Scavenger hunt - Match the parts of the wheelchair - 50p

Name the Monkey- for a chance to win a crochet monkey -50p

Colouring Competition - Children will come home with a colouring sheet of a monkey, please include name and class- 50p

After school sale - This will be held in the playground and items on offer include icepops, bakes, magnets and keyrings - 50p
