In memory of Milton

We won't give up until everyone experiencing a mental health problem gets support and respect, but we need your help too. Join the 2026 TCS London Marathon and help us to ensure that no one has to face a mental health problem alone.

Story

In June 2020, we lost my father-in-law, Milton, when he took his own life. It was such a heart-breaking time for our family, and not a day goes by that we don’t think about him. He was kind, funny, and loved by everyone who knew him. His loss has left a huge hole in our lives.

I’m running to raise money for Mind, a charity that means a lot to me. They do amazing work supporting people who are struggling with their mental health and making sure no one has to face things alone.

Since losing Milton, I’ve realised just how important it is to talk about mental health and to reach out when things feel tough. If this run can help raise awareness and even support one person to get the help they need, then every mile will be worth it.

This is for Milton — to honour his memory, to celebrate his life, and to help others who might be finding things hard right now.

Thank you so much for your support and for helping me raise money for such an important cause.
