Story
On 26 April 2026, I will be running the London Marathon in support of Hospice UK.
Training is tough, but I am motivated because everyone deserves the comfort, dignity, and support that hospice care provides. Hospices don’t just ease pain, they help people live fully to the end and support families through the hardest times.
In my profession, I see daily how life-limiting illness affects patients and families. I am also running in memory of my uncle, who passed away after a long battle with cancer. His courage and kindness continue to inspire me, and I want to honour him by completing this challenge.
Hospice UK supports over 200 hospices nationwide, reaching more than 310,000 people each year. Yet too many still miss out on the care they need. Hospice UK is working to change that and fighting for hospice care for all, now and in the future.
I’ve set a fundraising target of £2,200. Every donation, large or small, will help ensure no one faces the end of life or grief alone.
Thank you for your generosity.
