Here in Oxfordshire there are families with children who have disabilities and complex needs. Every hour, of every day, of every week, of every month these families care for and supoport these children, without sufficient support. Specialist feeding regimes, high levels of precise medication and personal care mean often the ability to "just pop out" is not an option. Usual options of friends, family or the teenager down the road do not have the skills, experience or confidence to help, even if they wanted to.

That is where Flexicare makes a difference. Flexicare provides a free, fully flexible, specialised sitting service for families with children with disabilities. Flexicare services are led by the families needs. Flexicare provides staff and volunteers, DBS checked, safeguarding trained, first aid, seizure awareness, safe lifting and handling practices, medication administration.
