Story
I'm taking on the epic challenge of climbing the Three Peaks – Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike and Snowdon – in just 24 hours, to raise vital funds for Rose Ward at the Royal Brompton heart Hospital.
Rose Ward provides wonderful care for children with complex heart conditions, and we want to give back to support their lifesaving work. Every donation helps the ward carry on providing exceptional treatment and support to patients and families during their most challenging times.

My dear friend, Louise, was born with aortic stenosis, a serious heart condition. As a baby, she was rushed to the Royal Brompton Hospital, where she underwent her first open-heart surgery at just a few months old.
In March 2024, Louise’s health took a critical turn when her replacement heart valve failed. She required her fourth major surgery – a gruelling 16-hour procedure that should have taken 8hrs at the most. Almost every complication that could arise did, leaving Louise on life support in an induced coma for several weeks.
Against all odds, and thanks to the extraordinary skill and care of the Royal Brompton’s doctors and nurses, Louise began to heal. Slowly but surely, she regained consciousness.
Ben, Lou, and their family will forever be profoundly grateful for the dedication and expertise of the medical team, without whom Louise would not be here today.
