Story
There are over 500,000 people in the UK living with inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), with around 25,000 people diagnosed every year. Crohn’s and Colitis are types of IBD, and are lifelong conditions that have a significant impact on a person's life. Crohn's and Colitis can cause symptoms such as severe pain, fatigue, joint pain and more.
Crohn's and Colitis UK have been an invaluable resource whilst navigating my own ill health, as they provide clear and helpful information for people, whether they are in the process of being diagnosed with IBD, those living with it, as well as friends and family members.
I am taking part in the Big Winter Workout 31/31 challenge to support Crohn’s & Colitis UK. Your support helps the charity transform lives, from faster diagnosis to better care and treatments that give people a better quality of life. It is an inclusive challenge, designed to be undertaken by anyone, regardless of physical ability, and encourages everyone to start moving more, whilst raising awareness of the work Crohn's & Colitis UK do. They are the UK’s leading charity for these conditions, working to improve diagnosis, fund research, and raise awareness. By supporting me, you’ll help them continue this essential work.
I would really appreciate any donation and support you can give. Together, we can make a difference in the lives of those living with Crohn's and Colitis.
