Royal Parks Half Marathon 2025 · 12 October 2025 · Start fundraising for this event

A team of incredible CoppaFeel! runners are taking on the Royal Parks Half Marathon on 12th October 2025 to end the late detection of breast cancer.

Story

Hello friends, family, & fellow nip havers everywhere, Alyssa and Ruby here.

We have unsurprisingly jumped on the race running wagon and have signed ourselves up to run the Royal Half here in London on Sunday October 12th, 2025.

We decided to have some fun and run to support a charity that’s important to both of us. You’d be lucky to say you have never been affected by breast cancer. It can affect men and women both, although more common in women. It’s statistically very likely that you love someone who has had or will have breast cancer.

So why CoppaFeel? you might ask…

Touching your ( . )( . ) is fun & CoppaFeel are the UK’s only youth focused breast cancer awareness charity. They’re on a mission to get every 18-24 year old checking their chest.

Early detection truly can save lives.

They educate people on the signs and symptoms of breast cancer and encourage them to check their chests regularly, so that if they notice something unusual they are empowered to contact their GP and advocate for themselves.

A note from Alyssa: As a woman who’s family has been affected by breast cancer for 4 generations, I have always been hyper aware of the need to check my baps as early as possible. My Mom had breast cancer at the age of 35, the same age that I am, which is pretty crazy young when you think about it.

I had my first mammogram at the age of 25 and my next will be this year. Early detection is the best way to protect yourself. I’ve been doing self exams for as long as I can remember! I am here to say, it’s not as scary as you might think.

The rules around breast screening are a bit archaic if you ask me, in the US it usually starts at 40 and the UK age 50. We should all be feeling our melons as frequently as possible! In the US, 1 in 8 women will have breast cancer, it really does affect everyone!

So whether you like your bazongas big, small, or not at all, help us save lives by donating to our fundraiser!

P.S. We are in the midst of planning a little event for our London based friends which should be bags of fun! This will likely occur mid-late September so please keep an eye out for more info!
