I am taking part in The 2025 Robin Hood Half Marathon on behalf of The John van Geest Cancer Research Centre (JvGCRC)

This charity is important to me as my Abba had cancer and sadly passed away from it. Taking part in this event is a way for me to support research that helps improve cancer diagnosis, treatment, and awareness of symptoms.

Based at Nottingham Trent University, JvGCRC specialise in research into blood cancers as well as colorectal, pancreatic and brain tumours.

Your kind donations help to find ways to:

- Diagnose cancer better

- Predict how it will respond to treatment

- Develop ways of boosting the immune system to fight it

I would love to help support work that can make diagnosis easier and help people recognise symptoms earlier.
