Running for Punjab

Jaspal Singh Jhand is raising money for Midland langar Seva Society

Half Marathons (13.1 miles) at Bedford Running Festival · 7 September 2025

The 2025 floods in Punjab are the result of relentless monsoon rains combined with sudden water releases from major dams. Many residents are forced into relief camps.

Story

On 7th September, we’re running the Bedford Half Marathon to raise funds for the Punjab Flood Support appeal, organised by the Midland Langar Seva Society.

The 2025 floods have devastated communities in Punjab — destroying homes, crops, and livelihoods. Urgent relief is needed to provide food, clean water, shelter, and medical care for families who have lost everything.

Every mile we run is in solidarity with Punjab. Please support us — together we can turn our run into real help for those in need.
