I have a big 50th birthday this year and I have decided that I wanted to take on a big challenge so I'm taking on the Jurassic Coast 100km Challenge for Dorset County Hospital Charity for funds towards the new Emergency Department and Critical Care Unit. The challenge takes place on the 17th and 18th May and will involve me walking 100km along the very hilly Jurassic Coast.

I have lived in Dorchester for 18 years and have been the occasional user of the ED department and I now work at the hospital and realise how important this new unit will be to support the residents of Dorset.

I am also a First Aider at Dorchester Rugby club supporting our Boys Colts Team (16 yrs to 18 yrs) and we want to give back to the hospital for all the times we need ED to support all our players

Please support our vital £2.5M Appeal funding major enhancements to the new Emergency and Critical Care Unit at Dorset County Hospital. The new unit will greatly improve capacity and transform the experience of patients, their families and our staff.
