Home-Start Merton is a local community network of trained volunteers and expert support, helping families with children pre-birth and up to 5 years. Every family is special and our aim is to empower families to enable them to function independently without the need for further intervention.

Story

Form 9A are raising money for Home-Start Merton, a charity they have chosen together with First Give Project. The form has 4 weeks to raise as much money as they can for their chosen charity and will present their chosen charity to a panel of judges to be in with a chance of winning £1,000 for the charity.

Home-Start Merton is a voluntary organisation that trains volunteers to offer regular support and practical help to families. Home-Start Merton support families with at least one child under the age of five, parents who are pregnant, and parents who have perinatal mental ill health. They help to prevent family crisis and breakdown. Home-Start Merton offer home-volunteering support, group support, and counselling to families.

Any donations go directly to Home-Start Merton who will be using the money raised to take families on a summer outing to Littlehampton - some of these families have never been on holiday or even seen the sea.

Thank you for any and all donations.
