Hello and welcome to the fundraising page for the 2026 Run Wigan Festival for Team Toby!

This year we have an incredible 25 runners taking part in the various events including the Family Mile and Half-Marathon. This is a Team just giving page that will be used by all runners and we thank you very much for your support for Together for Toby and our passion to find a cure for Myotonic Dystrophy.

Team Toby 💚

Together for Toby is a 'CureDM Together Campaign' run by the Cartwright family in Wigan. The aim is to use their experience to help raise awareness of Myotonic Dystrophy, as well as funds for support and research.

Toby was diagnosed with CDM at 3 weeks old, and subsequently mum Becky was diagnosed with DM1.

Toby is the happiest little boy who faces every challenge in his own way, with his adorable smile and a cheeky laugh. He is not defined by his condition and instead makes his own rules and way in life.

The family is working hard to raise funds and awareness for this condition and this page is a record of fundraising achievements.
