Story

TEAM TOBY is a ' CureDM Together Campaign' run by the Cartwright family in Wigan. The aim is to use their experience to help raise awareness of Myotonic Dystrophy, as well as funds for support and research.

Toby was diagnosed with CDM at 3 weeks old, subsequently mum Becky was diagnosed with DM1.

Toby is the happiest little boy who faces every challenge in his own way, with his adorable smile and a cheeky laugh. He is not defined by his condition and instead makes his own rules and way in life.

The family is working hard to raise funds and awareness for this condition and this page is a record of fundraisers and achievements.

You can support Team Toby by donating directly to the fundraising page, attending events, or setting up your own event or fundraising activity - THANK YOU!

Becky, Brad and Toby!

CureDM ‘Together’ Campaigns are a way for families to raise funds with support from Cure Myotonic Dystrophy UK Charity. The registered Charity (1191217) is restricted to specifically support Myotonic Dystrophy, so you can be assured your fundraising will not be used for any other condition. 100% of Team Toby donations are ringfenced for the Charity Aims of Research, Support, and Awareness.
