Saturday 21st March 2026 is World Down Syndrome Day, and this year’s theme is “Never Alone – a family of families.”

The date 3/21 symbolises Trisomy 21—the genetic variation that causes Down syndrome, where there are three copies of chromosome 21 instead of two.

To mark this special day, Stepping Stones DS are bringing people together through Team 21, a community fundraiser where everyone takes on a Challenge 21 to support Stepping Stones DS.

Each challenge is anything linked to the number 21.

This fundraiser is about more than money, it’s about connection, inclusion and reminding every family that they are #NeverAlone.
