Sadie and Katherine's fundraiser for Great Ormond Street Hospital Children's Charity

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.
Last year I made a promise to my youngest son, Noah, that I would resume training and run the London Marathon once his cancer treatment had finished. Sadly after 6 short months Noah lost his battle with Ewing Sarcoma and we kissed him goodnight for the last time.
A huge amount of Noah's treatment took place at Great Ormond Street Hospital. We will be ever grateful for the love, care and compassion shown to our family during his time at GOSH.
A promise is a promise, so I signed up along with my dear friend Sadie who I walked a marathon with on the hottest day of the year before Noah was diagnosed.
This is my first marathon, Sadie however is dusting off her trainers 13 years after running the London Marathon (though she has not ran an inch since). With my long legs, and Sadie's marathon 'experience' we'll make a great team! Here's to training with laughter and probably tears!!
This is for you, Noah, the marathon you will never get to run, but we know you'll be with us every step of the 26.2 miles!
