A unique safari on horseback, riding through the breathtaking Waterberg region in South Africa, raising funds for rhino conservation and community support. This is the annual 10th Ride from Ant Africa Safaris, with places for 12 experienced riders

Story

Ride for Rhinos is a unique safari on horseback that takes place annually in the Waterberg, South Africa. The purpose is to raise funds for rhino conservation and community support for the region, by helping to bring opportunity and economic benefit. The Waterberg is one of the last bastions of rhino on the planet and so needs all our support to ensure that these magnificent animals have a future.

There are 12 places available for experienced riders. The Ride starts on the 15,000 acre reserve at Ant Africa Safaris, before setting out across the stunning landscape of the Waterberg. Over the week, riders will ride with rhino, canter with giraffe, camp under the African night sky and make friends for life. It truly is an adventure of a lifetime that requires determination and fitness and to make the distance of around 250km, 6-7 hours a day in the saddle.

Please support the riders on their quest. Each is paying all their costs so every penny raised goes to where it is needed.
