Campaign by GroceryAid (RCN 1095897)
On Wednesday 16th - Friday 18th July 2025, 75 riders will be cycling cycling across the Peak District raising vital funds for their industry charity, GroceryAid.

Story

In July 2025, 75 grocery colleagues from across the industry including 8 from Sainsbury's will embark on an incredible three-day cycling challenge, pushing their limits both physically and mentally, to raise vital funds for their industry charity, GroceryAid.

Over three days, the team will conquer 8,848 metres of elevation - the equivalent of summiting Mount Everest - whilst cycling between 100km-140km per day covering iconic climbs like the breath-taking Whinlatter Pass, the mighty Gun Hill and the Cat & Fiddle.

More colleagues than ever are reaching out for support. In 2023/2024 GroceryAid experienced a staggering 93% rise in supports, delivering 78,000 instances of emotional and practical help alone. Meeting this increased demand is only made possible through your support.

The Sainsbury's team will be made up of Richard Crampton, Guy Stuart, James Curtis, Debbie Gildert, Nick Bates, Tom Openshaw, Chris Dove and Harry Jewell - please support us where you can!
