I am raising money for Alcohol change UK in memory of my son Jack Owen Bower who sadly lost his life to alcoholism, liver failure at the young age of 23 years young. Jack battled with alcohol addiction for 5 years. I not only want to raise as much money as possible for this charity but also raise awareness about the dangers and serious consequences of alcohol addiction and abuse especially to young people. I want to make it aware to as many people as I possibly can that it can kill at such a young age. I want to try help and stop any other person going through this awful, devastating disease. Not only the addicts but family’s too. Please donate to this very important charity and help others not go through what Jack went through and myself as his mother . I will be running Manchester half marathon on Sunday the 26th of May 2024.
