Story
On Sunday 26th April 2026, I shall be running the streets of London to raise vital funds for St Catherine's Hospice, in the memory of my mum Karen.
I lost my mum last March after a short battle with cancer and the care she received for the last 3 weeks of her life from St Catherine's was a real eye opener to wonderful and vital service they provide, which is mostly funded by donations and fundraising.
As many of my friends would testify before 2024, I would have never dreamt of running further than the length of a hockey pitch in one go but ever since my mum's death running has become part of my life and it seemed natural to run my first marathon at London and raise money for a cause very close to my heart.
