Story
On 1 May 2026 we will be taking part in a 12 hour Danceathon in Manchester and we need your help to raise money for Prevent Breast Cancer to help prevent breast cancer for future generations.
I’m dancing for my colleague and close friend, Andrea Charge. Andrea is an inspirational young lady, in fact a powerhouse, who was diagnosed with breast cancer last year. Since then, not only has she been fighting with all she has to beat this disease, she’s doing all she can to educate others on what to look for and petitioning government to lower the age for screening. Like I said, a powerhouse. 💗
I am also dancing in memory of my dear friend, Ness. Ness was an inspiration to us all, she lit up every room and fought to the end with dignity and grace. 🤍
Your support for Prevent Breast Cancer will go towards the Research Unit, a world leading hub that will unite Manchesters extraordinary research talent, extensive datasets and valuable biological samples to drive discovery innovation and training in breast cancer prevention.
Unlike many cancer charities, they’re focused on preventing, rather than curing. Promoting early diagnosis, screening and lifestyle changes. Being situated at the only breast cancer prevention centre in the UK, we’re right at the front-line in the fight against the disease.
So please, support with what you can. If that’s spreading the word. Then please do. Thank you for taking the time to read this ❤️
