Story
From 2nd to 11th October 2026, I'll be taking on one of the world's most iconic challenges—The Inca Trail—to raise money for a small but desperately needed charity: Harry's Pals.
I'll spend five tough days trekking on Inca-paved paths and ancient stone steps, climbing through lush cloud forest to the demanding Dead Woman’s Pass at 4,200m with a highlight of the trip seeing Machu Picchu, but the journey will be a huge personal test. Our way is continually climbing up or dropping down, often steep, with the high altitude adding significantly to the challenge.
For me, this journey is about giving back. After having been lucky enough to watch my three healthy babies grow into young adults, it feels like it's time to test my own boundaries to support those who are navigating the unimaginable. I feel incredibly lucky to be able to take on this challenge with the team, but it will be an immense personal commitment.
The fantastic cause I'm fundraising for will be what keeps me moving forward. Harry's Pals offers unique and invaluable emotional support to parents facing every mum and dad's worst nightmare: being told their son or daughter has a life-limiting or life-threatening condition. The support they offer is one of a kind, helping families cope during often untenable, heartbreaking circumstances.
I hope that you will support me in any way that you can to help Harry's Pals continue their incredible work. Every share helps us reach more hearts. Please extend this message within your own network to help Harry’s Pals continue their vital work.
