So after being diagnosed with Ulcerative Colitis at 17 - the Tough Mudder me and my friend Alex are about to attempt seems like a good time for me to raise some funds and some awareness for Crohn's & Colitis UK.

Colitis is one of those conditions that people aren't as aware of as others, and as with anything to do with digestive-related things - carries a bit of a stigma.

Luckily, I've managed my disease since diagnosis, and thankfully, am able to live a pretty normal life.

But it's something I'll live with, as do many others, and so the work that goes on to fight for new ways of managing the condition is a very good one.

So, if you can, it'd be great to see some support for the work that goes on at the charity by sending a donation, or raising awareness in your own way.

And, I'll get back to smashing this Tough Mudder x
