On Sunday 7th June I will be taking the plunge to abseil down the maternity block of Ipswich Hospital.

Our grandson Harlea-James was born in 2011 , at 30 weeks gestation ( 10 weeks early) . He weighed 3lb 11oz .

Harlea spent 6 and a half weeks in the special care baby unit.

We are all extremely grateful to all the wonderful staff for their kindness , dedication, skills and the care given to Harlea and ourselves during this difficult time. They literally saved his life. He is now an almost 15 year old, thriving, healthy and happy. We are all very proud of him of the wonderful young man he’s growing into.

Kevin(Potts) is hoping to raise some funds and give back a little something again as a thank you.
