"A beautiful light has gone dark, but its warmth remains."

This year, on the 29th of April, it has been a year since my mum passed away. Since her loss, I felt compelled to do something for the community in her memory.

She was not only my mum, but also a remarkable person, with her sense of humour and her humility. People around her, family and community felt her emptiness.

Therefore, I am running the Royal Parks Half-Marathon to raise funds for the New Futures Nepal charity, which has been helping children and disadvantaged adults, supporting their care, education, and healthcare needs. These initiatives have helped many to get into their careers and achieve their aspirations.
