I am proud to be Stepping Up For Bears in support of International Animal Rescue and raising vital funds to help rescue and care for the bears in Armenia.

This challenge is incredibly close to my heart. We sadly lost four of our own beloved pets during the past months —Smokey, Cesar, Snoopy, and Turbo. In their loving memory, I want to do this fundraising to give other animals a chance at a better life.

This July, I will be walking/running 56 miles/90 km (approx. 127,000 steps) in honour of the 56 bears rescued from captivity in Armenia – that’s a step closer to freedom for every life saved!

These rescued bears were once trapped in cages, many in heartbreaking conditions. They’re now beginning new lives filled with care and freedom, but many more still need our help!
