Dear friends,

Thank you all SO much for your support for our Mighty Convoy medical and humanitarian aid mission to Ukraine. (If you've not managed to donate yet, it's NOT too late!! Every additional penny goes straight to the cause, enabling the purchase of more critical ambulances, pickup trucks and transits - vital for getting medical aid to - and wounded soldiers from - the front line.) It was quite the 35-hour drive to Lviv, but we made it! THANK YOU!

Our Ukrainian charity partners and all the recipients of the vehicles and aid truly appreciate your generosity and were keen to stress how much it means to know they have support from the people of western Europe - that they are not forgotten. I was so moved by the resilience and determination of the Ukrainians I met there.

As a reminder..... Mighty Convoy (MC) was formed in 2022 by four friends with the aim of raising funds for the purchase and delivery of second-hand pickup trucks and ambulances, plus desperately needed medical and food aid to Ukraine. Its key partners are the UK registered charity, the International Christian Medical and Dental Association (ICMDA) and their sister organisation, the Christian Medical Association Ukraine (CMAU) in Lviv, which is where the ambulances are delivered to. A partnership with Mission Kharkiv also supports this charity in providing vital treatment for cancer patients across Ukraine.

MC has no paid staff. Everyone involved is a volunteer, including all drivers, who not only volunteer their time but also pay for their own expenses, a share of the vehicle costs and flights home from Poland. I now need to raise £3,500 to pay for my half of the vehicle, fuel, insurance and passage. The aid we will take is donated.

Ukraine, right now, as you know, is in dire need of help - I'm grateful for anything you feel you can donate.
