So, this is the third and last time I will be completing the Great North Run.

I’ve never asked you for sponsors or donations before but this year I am going to bother you all,

Ashgate Hospice has helped many of my close friends over the last year and over past years. I know that many of you have had experience with their excellent care and it astounds me that they run entirely on donations.

Please dig deep and make ever ml of sweat and every minute of my aching muscles and training count ….. a half marathon isn’t easy for a chubby, wine loving 54 year old! 😜
