I’m taking part in a fundraiser that’s close to my heart — supporting unaccompanied asylum-seeking and refugee youth from the Horn of Africa. The project was set up by the Eritrean community in London in 2018, and it’s become a vital space for young people who have faced displacement, trauma, and the harsh realities of the UK’s asylum system.
