As a lot of you may know, this charity has been so close to my heart this year, I have been to see the amazing work the hospital and all the staff do and the equally incredible children that are there. We’re incredibly lucky to have such a hospital, that can help and make their time there as easy as possible for the children and families.

In February, we heard the hardest news that one of our closest family friends, had been diagnosed with a brain tumour. Sienna, underwent a strong chemotherapy routine and then radiotherapy. She was fearless throughout and I am still floored as to how they all got through it.

Jen, Martin and Amber went into power mode and were incredible throughout.

Sienna, has since rung the bell which is incredible and is now navigating life after treatment.

I wanted to do something that could raise some money to say Thank you to everyone that helped make Siennas journey a little lighter and their time there a little more comfortable as a family.

So, here we go… the London Marathon! This will be the greatest distance I have ever run and training is well and truly underway!!! I am hoping to complete this challenge with a friend Dan, who will also be running for Sienna… and dragging me around the 26 miles we are embarking on. Wish us both luck as we join to make a team page.
