Story
On Sunday 27th September, I'll be taking on a unique Peak District challenge hike to raise vital funds for Mummy's Star.
Starting and finishing in Glossop, this demanding 14-mile circular route includes three of the area's iconic trig points (the "three peaks" of Glossop, although we'll actually be tackling five summits!), crossing the vast Dark Peak moorlands and visiting two plane crash sites, including the poignant Bleaklow B-29 Superfortress crash site. Along the way, I'll experience some of the most spectacular views the Peak District has to offer.
This is a true Peak District challenge, featuring remote landscapes, rugged off-path terrain and plenty of tough climbs. It will be physically demanding, but the incredible sense of achievement at the finish line will make every step worthwhile. I'm taking on this challenge to support Mummy's Star, and I'd be so grateful for any support to help me raise funds for this vital charity.
