As many of my friends know, Dementia has hugely affected our lives for the last 6 years and the daily struggles we see mum face can be extremely hard but we take every day as it comes and try and make memories at every opportunity.

The Forget Me Not Cafe is a wonderful place which we enjoy attending with mum, not only do they pop on great activities but it's also a nice social space for mum and importantly for dad too. These sessions are funded solely by donations and run by volunteers.

The money generated from this event is helping to fund local Forget-Me-Not Cafés, Forget-Me-Notes singing groups and supporting other groups who help people with memory problems.

Colin, Archie, Orla and I are all taking part in their annual Run, Walk, Push fundraiser and will be joining in the 5km Run/Walk!
