I'm taking part in the Jo Cox Way because - like Jo herself - I believe that we have more in common than that which divides us.

I have also benefitted from the Street Bikes Community Cycling Sessions, which are based at the Princess Mary Stadium. I have witnessed this friendly, inclusive group in action, enabling and encouraging people to discover the joy of cycling.

In July I'll join a group of over 80 riders as we cycle nearly 300 miles from Jo's constituency in West Yorkshire to London. Over five days, this group - from a range of different backgrounds and different cycling abilities - will really bring Jo's more in common message to life. This will be my longest ride in over 5 years, it will be a challenge! and hopefully a lot of fun!
