Story
Sarah’s cousin Kirsty passed away on 5th December 2023, two days before her 50th Birthday. For the last three months of her life, she was cared for by the amazing staff at St Catherine’s Hospice. The humanity and dignity that the staff both treated Kirsty with as well as her friends and family was just incredible and we are very grateful.
That’s why this year we vowed that we would try to raise much needed funds so that St Catherine’s can continue to do their amazing work and support other families like they did with ours.
St Catherine's provides palliative and end-of-life care and support for the people of Central Lancashire, through our specialised services at the hospice and in people’s own homes. We're here to help people facing life-shortening conditions like cancer, motor neurone disease and heart failure to enjoy the best possible quality of life to the end of life. It costs more than £5m to run our charity every single year. We rely on the amazing efforts and wonderful generosity of supporters like you to help us raise the funds we need. Thank you!
