For many of us, Christmas is a time of joy, giving and celebrations. But for people who are homeless, or at risk of homelessness, it can be a tough and lonely time of the year.

Homelessness is a national issue, but this is a local story about local Rotherham people.

This winter, hundreds of people in our community will turn to Shiloh for support. They may be sleeping rough, sofa surfing, or facing the fear of losing their home. What they want most is hope for the future.

Every day, Shiloh provides life-changing support, practical help and a listening ear to people in crisis. And at Christmas, that support is even more vital, which is why I'm supporting the charity's Christmas appeal 'All I Want For Christmas...'
