This year, I’m taking on the challenge of a lifetime — climbing Mount Kilimanjaro, the highest peak in Africa, to raise vital funds for Kids Operating Room. Kids OR is an incredible charity that creates dedicated operating rooms, supporting spaces, equipment, training, and education to staff and scholars. Putting life saving tools in life saving hands ,and supporting children in low and middle-income countries who desperately need life-saving surgery.

The trek to the summit of Kilimanjaro will be a grueling 7-day journey, both physically and mentally demanding. But the real challenge is nothing compared to what children in these regions face every day when they have no access to the medical care they so urgently need.

With your generous support, the funds raised will go directly toward the installation of a new, fully-equipped medical facility at Kilimanjaro Medical Centre in Moshi, Tanzania. This facility will provide children with the essential surgeries that could save their lives and drastically improve their futures.
