"Challenges are what make life interesting, and overcoming them is what makes life meaningful"
My dad and I are extremely fortunate to be given a fabulous opportunity to run the London Marathon together on Sunday 26th April 2026 in an attempt to help support children with sensory impairment and other needs.
Hopefully, we will complete the London Marathon together on Sunday 26th April 2026 and our intentions are simple; to complete the course the same day without any injury, to enjoy every second with friends and family along the way, and of course to raise as much as possible for children who are faced with challenges most of us can only imagine. Sight is a wonderful gift that most of us take for granted!
I feel honoured that having helped raise funds for St Vincent's since I was a child myself, helping support my dad raise funds for the same course, this is my first actual London Marathon, and no doubt my dad's last!
We are running for St Vincent's which is a specialist school for sensory impairment and other needs (www.stvin.com). This is a small charity (Charity Registration No 1102657) that really appreciate every single donation that is made, regardless of size. Any donation you can afford to make will really make such a big difference to the children of St Vincent's.
Thank you for taking the time to visit our JustGiving 2026 page, and for any contribution that you can make. My dad and I would really appreciate your help and support by sharing this link with your friends and family on as many social media platforms as possible;
