I don’t enjoy swimming, I hate the sea, and I’m not fond of the general public or crowds of southerners.

I am aiming to swim 1.6 miles against the tide from Boscombe Pier to Bournemouth Pier. I don’t think I’ve swam 1.6 miles in total over 42 years, but I’m determined to do it in aid of the British Heart Foundation. Please sponsor me!
