💚 About My Cause

Seren & Ellie are taking part in this Swimathon to support Great Oaks Hospice, an incredible local charity that has been caring for people across the Forest of Dean for nearly 25 years. Over the past 19 months the Great Oaks team have been caring for my dad and the girls grandad.

They provide vital end-of-life care in people’s homes, as well as support for those living with life-limiting illnesses, and their families, carers, and loved ones. Every year, they help over 1,200 people in our community.

🌊 Why I’m Fundraising

The demand for their care continues to grow, but they rely heavily on fundraising to keep going. It costs almost £1 million a year to run the hospice, and every donation truly makes a difference.

That’s why the girls are taking on this Swimathon — to help raise funds so they can continue supporting local people when they need it most.
