Story
In May I'll be running the Hackney Half Marathon to raise money for the Felix Project. This charity provides a vital service to many struggling to feed themselves and their family, while also tackling the issue of food waste.
Having volunteered in their warehouse in Deptford, I can attest to their great work!
I really appreciate any little you can spare for the cause. With my fundraising target we could:
- Fund 870 meals for Londoners in real need during a cost-of-living crisis
- Support over 1000 food banks, schools and community organisations with free food
- Stop tonnes of good food from being wasted & harming the environment
About The Felix Project
400 thousand children in London and 1.4 million adults are food insecure. Meanwhile, in the UK we waste almost 10 million tonnes of food every year. The Felix Project exists to fight this problem.
Every penny raised by you will stop good food from being wasted and get good food to Londoners in need - including children & families, the homeless, the elderly, domestic violence survivors, refugees and more.
