June Stepathon - Step into Summer for Surface Guided Radiotherapy!

Tabby Fleming is raising money for The League of Friends of the Kent and Canterbury Hospital CIO

SGRT June Stepathon

We’re aiming to raise £400,000 to implement Surgical Guided Radiotherapy at K&C Hospital. The technique allows treatment to be more accurate, more comfortable & faster enabling more patients & a wider range of cancers to be treated locally.

Story

The June Stepathon is raising funds for our ongoing fundraising campaign with The League of Friends charity to bring Surface Guided Radiotherapy (SGRT) technology to East Kent.

SGRT is a type of motion management system that will improve radiotherapy treatment accuracy, enhance patient comfort, and reduce treatment times. It will have a huge impact on the radiotherapy service we provide to patients in East Kent and we would love your help and support!

To take part in the June Stepathon, you can either pick up an information pack from the League of Friends shop at Kent and Canterbury Hospital or send an email to colin.barker@nhs.net expressing your interest.

The recommended donation to take part in the challenge is £20 and you can donate using this page. Please note that this is just a recommended donation - if you want to donate more or less, that is completely fine. All contributions will make a difference to this fantastic cause!

If you want to get your friends and family to sponsor you, then just share this Just Giving page with them and encourage them to donate and leave a comment supporting you with your challenge!
