Hello everyone, Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I said I wouldnt take another charity place for a while after doing a charity place for Cancer research in the Royal Parks Half Marathon, just because i know times are hard with the cost of living etc and there are a few fundraisers out there already and I understand people cannot do them all but it has happened. I have decided to take a charity place for Roy Castle Lung Cancer Foundation at the Great North Run on the 10th September.

I entered the ballot along with my girlfriend Sam, she was lucky and got in and I wasn't so lucky. This is one race I would love to tick off the list but i wanted to run it with Sam and enjoy the experience together so my only option is a charity place so im back here asking for kind donations, small or big as it all helps which will go to a great charity which deals with something close to my heart.

As most of you know me and my sister lost our mum and dad, both due to lung cancer and i have recently come across this charity which i wish i found nearly 4 years ago but they are the leading UK lung cancer charity dedicated to helping everyone affected by the disease. Since 1990, when the charity was set up, they have funded millions of pounds of essential lung cancer research, looking for ways to detect the disease as early as possible and also raise awareness to prevent future generations from getting it. Something myself will be looking into.

I need to raise a total of £350 which i will kick-start off by donating myself. Any donation is really appreciated, even just a couple of quid. Hopefully one day lung cancer will be a thing of the past.
