Ride 1000 Miles in 24 Hours for Devon Air Ambulance

Shane Bradley is raising money for Devon Air Ambulance Trust

Riding my motorcycle 1000 miles in 24 hours · 26 July 2026

Devon Air Ambulance Trust is the charity that raises the funds to keep Devon’s two air ambulances flying and fleet of Critical Care Cars responding. We can only be there for those in need, with your continued kindness and support. Together, we are Devon Air Ambulance.

Story

I’m taking on one of the toughest challenges I’ve ever attempted — riding 1,000 miles in just 24 hours — to raise money for Devon Air Ambulance.

On the 27th of July 2025 I suffered a serious heart attack and my life depended on getting to the Royal Devon and Exeter Hospital as quickly as possible. The Devon Air Ambulance responded and air lifted me there just in time.

This incredible service provides critical, lifesaving care across Devon, reaching people in urgent need when every second counts. They rely heavily on donations to keep flying, and I want to do my part to help keep them in the air.

You can follow my journey to prepare and undertake the ride on my Facebook page.

If you can spare anything at all, your support would mean a huge amount — not just to me, but to the other people whose lives may depend on it.

Thank you for reading, sharing, and supporting.
