Over ten years ago, when I was a student at Oxford, I joined Q-Club with CEI. It completely transformed how I read and understood the Qur’an.

More than that, it gave me a sense of community. Being surrounded by people who were equally passionate about learning made the experience even more meaningful and reminded me that the journey of understanding the Qur’an is never one we take alone.

Fast forward to now, I create content around the Qur’an online, reaching audiences around the world. Every time I sit down to prepare, I remember how much of my foundation was built through CEI’s work and the community that shaped me.

That is why I feel so grateful and why I want to give back. CEI is now fundraising to establish The Q Institute in central London, a dedicated space for Qur’anic learning, reflection, and community. A place that will nurture the next generation of students, thinkers, and believers, just as CEI nurtured me.
