Story
One hot & quiet New Delhi afternoon, I decided to take-up a walk.
Not the usual one around the block with my 2 young boys clinging to my hands, but one without them, at a far distant land, alongside the River Thames.
I am joining a lovely group of walkers to support '50 Million Voices' to raise funds to help run our global 'Practice interviews programme' for people who stutter and I am super-excited to take on 28KM of the Thames Path Challenge from Fulham to Hurst Park (Hampton Court) on Saturday 12 September!
More than 50 Million adults of employable age stammer or stutter, and I am one of them.
By supporting me, you will help many adults who stutter to receive free expert interview practice and feedback, taking them much closer to landing a job, perhaps even their dream job.
Foreign land, unpredictable weather and an unknown path but the spirits are high! I am looking forward to test my limits to support a cause I deeply believe in.
I'll be travelling to London to attend several key meetings, and I'm grabbing this opportunity walk the Thames Path Challenge. I've already started training for the same. You may reach out to me at my personal email - shilpa.sagwal19@gmail.com to know more.
Thank you for supporting me and 50 Million Voices.
