RNLI Castle 2 Castle Swim · 22 June 2025
Stribbors and I are undertaking the Castle 2 Castle Swim this year as a personal challenge but with the added bonus of raising money for the RNLI which is an incredibly important part of life down here!
The RNLI Castle 2 Castle Swim is an iconic one-mile open water sea swim across the Carrick Roads. It starts at the headland below Pendennis Castle in Falmouth and finishes on the beach below St Mawes Castle on the Roseland Peninsula.
This event raises money to support the RNLI's volunteer lifeboat crews and lifeguards. The RNLI celebrated its 200th anniversary in 2024 and each year the demands of the lifesaving service we provide increases, so with the charity relying on the public's voluntary donations every pound raised will help to save more lives around our coast.
The swim is a fantastic event largely run by volunteers, without whom it wouldn't be possible. It promises to be great fun with a fantastic atmosphere, so do come along and get involved.
