I'm a lifelong fan of rock and heavy metal and I'm proudly running the Manchester Marathon on 14 April 2024 to raise funds for Metal For Good.

Established in 2022, Metal For Good are a registered charity that uses the power of rock and metal for positive change. They provide grants to incredible community projects using the transformative power of music to improve mental health, address inequalities and help young people to thrive. Projects they have funded include Gig Buddies, The Music Works and Heavy Metal Therapy.

I started running marathons again last year after a 20 year hiatus. I set a personal best of 3h 45 in Los Angeles in March 2023 and accidentally finished 2nd in a local marathon in Coalport in September 2023.

I won't be on the podium in Manchester but it would mean a lot to me if you could show your support over 26.2 miles by making a donation to this fantastic charity. 🤘😎🤘
