Story
In December 2024, we lost our wonderful mum, June Phillips, to Cardiomyopathy — a little-known heart condition. Throughout her journey, she was supported by Cardiomyopathy UK, whose support groups became a lifeline for her. They offered comfort, understanding and community when she needed it most.
Mum believed deeply in their mission. So much so, she left a gift to the charity in her will. Now, I’m honoring her legacy by running the London Marathon to raise funds for Cardiomyopathy UK — so they can continue helping others like my mum through their own journeys.
Their work is funded entirely by donations. If you’re able to sponsor me, I’d be incredibly grateful. Your support means more families can access the help they need when facing this life-changing condition. Every penny truly makes a difference — to me, to my family, and to the many others affected by cardiomyopathy.
