Purple Day (March 26th) is an international day where people from around the world come together to promote epilepsy awareness. At SUDEP Action we take part in Purple Day to get as many people shouting about epilepsy and epilepsy safety as possible.

Story

Purple Day is an international day supported by epilepsy organisations worldwide. On March 26th people in countries around the world will come together to promote epilepsy awareness.

SUDEP Action get involved in Purple Day to get as many people shouting about epilepsy and epilepsy safety as possible. By supporting, you will be strengthening the voice of a charity that cares.

On the 8th of July 2021 I lost my youngest sister Marian to Sudep at the age of 33. Prior to this we as a family had no knowledge of SUDEP. Since then It is my goal to raise awareness of this whilst keeping Marian's memory alive. In May 2022 myself along with family and friends raised over £22,000.00 for the Epilepsy Society. This year I want to support SUDEP Action by raising much needed funds for the essential work that they do.

They work hard to help people with epilepsy live as safely as possible, and to be here for the suddenly bereaved. Without the dedication of people like you, they could not keep pushing forward to give people with epilepsy all the information they need to make the best, most informed choices. So thank you!
