Story

We're Taking on the Robin Hood Half Marathon for Our Dementia Choir! 🏃‍♀️

Rupert Skill (Head of Sales & Contracts), Simon Skill (Director) & Martin Cross (Operations Manager) will be lacing up their running shoes and taking on the Robin Hood Half Marathon to raise funds and awareness for our Charity of the Year, Our Dementia Choir.

As a local Nottingham business, we're proud to support the incredible work Our Dementia Choir does for people living with dementia, their families, friends and carers across our community. Through fundraising initiatives, events and challenges like the Robin Hood Half Marathon, we're committed to helping the charity continue making a positive difference in people's lives.

"At Skills, we're always looking for meaningful ways to support our local community. Taking part in the Robin Hood Half Marathon is a fantastic opportunity for our team to challenge ourselves while raising awareness and vital funds for Our Dementia Choir. We're proud to support such an inspiring charity and look forward to making a positive impact together."

– Rupert Skill

Founded by Nottingham actress Vicky McClure, Our Dementia Choir brings people living with dementia together with their families, friends and carers through the power of music. The choir provides a welcoming and supportive environment where members can build confidence, reduce isolation and experience the many emotional and social benefits that music can bring.

The Robin Hood Half Marathon is just one of the many fundraising activities we'll be taking part in throughout the year as we continue our support of Our Dementia Choir.

We'd love your support as we take on this challenge. Every donation, share and word of encouragement helps us get one step closer to our fundraising goal while supporting an amazing local cause.

Thank you for your support!
